A commercial organic farm with an area offering social, education, therapeutic and development opportunities
To share the farm with those who may benefit!
“Wow Wow Wow”
In 2018 I was voted Northern Farmer of the Year at an awards ceremony in Yorkshire showground in front of over 400 farmers and industry leaders. I was so shocked that my acceptance speech was comprised of the three words you read above.
Simon Britton of George F White who presented the award said he was ‘blown away’ by what had been achieved at the farm. That is a feeling I often experience now as I see what the directors, staff and volunteers are accomplishing on the farm.
Our mission is the same as it always was – to share the farm with those who may benefit. We believe passionately that working in the countryside, engaging with nature, and building friendships with others here at the farm can be enormously beneficial.
I could go on… and on, but I will end by saying thank you for reading this and I hope that the farm may be of benefit to you also.
How can we help
I would like to…
…visit the farm with my class
We offer schools and teaching establishments a unique learning experience. Our exceptional facilities and resources enable us to deliver and design educational visits that are especially tailored to meet curriculum specifications.
…learn more about care farm provision
We openly welcome any prospective clients and their parents/carers/
support workers by appointment to come and visit us to see what we do. Taster days/half days can be arranged
if necessary (fee applicable).
…plan a party or group visit
We host children’s parties and other events. The possibilities are endless
with the facilities we have and the
team are very happy to discuss any special requests with you to make
your child’s party that extra special.
…learn more about alternative provision
We work in partnership with education providers and with young people if
they are experiencing challenges that prevent them from reaching their potential within traditional educational settings.
Don’t just take our word for it
I just wanted to say a huge thank you from all at the charity for the wonderful experience you put on for our children. They all love their visits and the chance to get so close and hands on with the animals in such a beautiful place is so beneficial to them and brings such pure joy.
HEY Children’s University
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at the farm for welcoming us and providing us with such a lovely learning experience and day out last Thursday. The day was so well planned with a range of activities which were just the right length of time for our age group.
Thank you very much for your time and effort.
Just want to say a great big thank you to yourself, Farmer Dennis, Mary and Chris for giving our children such a wonderful experience at your farm. All our classes have been “buzzing” since they got back and all had a thoroughly fantastic time! They have learnt a tremendous amount about farming through your hands on activities and I hope you will have us back another day!
We will send you some our work about the visit when it is finished.
Many thanks again
Sigglesthorne C of E Primary
On behalf of everyone at the Blue Bell Mtg group may I offer a very big thank you for talking to us about your Care Farm enterprise. It was without doubt one of our best meetings and was very much enjoyed by all.
Your enthusiasm and vision is clearly making a big difference to those in the community who are, for whatever reason, not as fortunate as most. I know our Vicar James Anderson was particularly thrilled with your work.
Keep up to date

Meet Mr. Pots!
Mr. Pots joined the farm at Easter from London!
He has settled in well and loves a mud bath to cool him down!
