Highgrove visit, April 26, 2010.

Paul and Denys were delighted to accept an invitation from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to a reception for The National Care Farming Initiative at Highgrove on Monday, April 26, 2010.

After having a conducted tour of the excellent gardens, Prince Charles joined us over dinner. We thanked him for his kind invitation and he spoke passionately about care farms and caring for the planet. We shared these and other interests not least of which was organic farming.

We also had the opportunity to talk with other leaders of the farming community, including Sir Don Curry who has played a big part in farming’s structure.

It was a great day which expanded our horizons and the weather was also very kind.
