Twenty of our members had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the farm. Denys started off the evening by explaining the operation of the care farm and mentioning various client groups who benefit from
attending it. After that, we were given a guided tour and a chance to ask even more questions about this fascinating project. The visit ticked many boxes for our club members, some of whom had a farming background, while others had an interest in the education programme.Denys had told us how he had developed the concept of the farm having attended a seminar and coming home "on fire". Having seen what he and his team have created, here's hoping he keeps fanning those flames!
